A to Z memories
I lost my mom when I was 26. I had my first child when I was 28, so they will never know their grandma. I had an interesting childhood, not perfect (who's is?) but definitely magical and all part of what my mom dreamed up along the way. I wanted to share some of the memories with my kids and so I made an A to Z book of memories. I gave one to each of my kids so they can learn about and love some of what I remember, and maybe even share it with their kids.
"Flip" the pages of the Finished BookI finished it! And you can see the final version on Blurb Books. I have placed a bulk order for the book and I'm filling the orders thru Kickstarter and taking orders here. You can see the book if you click below.

As I got further along with the process of making the Memory Book I realized that as personal as it is to my life, the process is cathartic and could be helpful to others who are struggling to remember and share their memories with their family. It's a gift to ourselves and to the person we lost.
I am creating a workbook that will have all the letters of the alphabet, ready for you to decorate any way that like. It's really just a starting point to get you to think of the little, everyday things that you miss about the one you have lost and to share it with the ones you love. |
